HIS SERVANTS' MINISTRY

Welcome to our website

What are the beliefs of Jesus Only, or Oneness Pentecostals?

UPC Churches are known as "Jesus Only" Churches because they reject the Godhead (the Trinity). They also believe you must be baptized in water and speak in tongues in order to be saved. THAT is NOT what the Bible states! Salvation is through Jesus alone! NOT works!
Eph. 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. (KJV) . . . Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. (KJV) . . . By the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified.
Romans 3:27-28
Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. (KJV) . . . That a man is justified by faith without the deeds.
Romans 4:3
For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. (KJV) . . . VERY CLEAR!
Romans 9:11  (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) (KJV) . . . Not of works.
Romans 9:16
So then it is not of him that willeth him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. (KJV) . . . It is not of him that willeth.
1 Cor.1:29-31
That no flesh should glory in his presence. 30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. (KJV) . . . He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
2 Tim. 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, (KJV) . . . Not according to our works.
Titus 3:3-5
For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5 Not by works of ighteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; (KJV) . . . Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us.

UPC go far out into left field when they reject the Trinity! They also insist that a person must speak in tongues and be baptized for one to be saved. They say: "New Birth is achieved by faith, repentance, water baptism, and baptism in the Holy Spirit" (which is evidenced by speaking in tongues). . . . This is utter FALSEHOOD! This is NOT what the Holy Word of God tells us! Are you going to believe God? OR are you going to believe these heretics?

The word “trinity” is not in the Bible, but its doctrine is!
Matthew 3:16-17 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. (KJV)
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (KJV)
John 14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (KJV)
John 15:26  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: (KJV)
Romans 5:5-6 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. (KJV)
Galatians 4:4-6  But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. 6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. (KJV)
Ephesians 2:18  For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. (KJV)
1 Corinthians 12:4-6 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. (KJV)
2 Cor. 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. (KJV)
1 Thes.1:2-5  We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;
3 Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; 4 Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God. 5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.
(KJV)
Titus 3:4-6  But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour
; (KJV)
1 Peter 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. (KJV)
1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (KJV)
The word trinity is not in the Bible, but “Godhead” is (Acts 17:29; Rom.1:20; Col.2:9).

The doctrinal views of UPCI reflect most of the beliefs of the Holiness-Pentecostal movement . . . with the exception of the "second work of grace" . . . which is the Biblical doctrine of the Trinity; and baptizing in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.  It embraces the demonic Pentecostal view that speaking in tongues is the initial sign of receiving the Holy Spirit. If this were true, then why DIDN'T the Apostle John mention speaking in tongues in any of his epistles?

The entire purpose for the writing of 1st John is found in 1st John 5:13, "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God" . . .  That ye may know that ye have eternal life . . . IF baptism and speaking in tongues are necessary for salvation, WHY didn't John mention either when the entire purpose of writing his Letter was so that we could KNOW we have eternal life? And, WHY didn’t Jesus ever tell us we must be baptized, and WHY didn’t He ever tell us that we had to speak in tongues before we could be saved? ONE answer my friends, because it is NOT true!

UPC rejects the doctrine of the Godhead (Trinity), and believe that 'Jesus Only' is God, NOT the Holy Spirit or NOT the Father. They are a demonic cult! The Word of God clearly teaches the Godhead. Please do NOT deny the Godhead! It is absurd for anyone to deny the Godhead with such an abundance of Scriptural support, as I have shown above.
